THE FUNTASTIC JOURNEY

 
  1. Start the morning off birding at Glacier Ridge National Wildlife Refuge outside Fertile

  2. Check out the variety of choices for lunch in Crookston.

  3. Head over to Old Treaty Crossing Park near Red Lake Falls for some great hiking opportunities (don't forget to stop in Red Lake Falls for an afternoon treat!

  4. Grab a burger at Broadway Station in St. Hilaire.

  5. Spend the night at Falls Stay 'N Play in Thief River Falls, after you play a round of mini golf and drive a go cart, of course.

PATHWAYS TO ADVENTURE

 
  1. Hit a morning round of golf at the Sand Hill River Golf Course in Fertile. Don’t forget to grab a donut (or a dozen) at Opdahl’s Donuts afterwards!

  2. Visit Old Crossing Treaty State Historical Wayside Park, where in 1863 the Ojibwe Indians ceded almost 10 million acres of land for white settlement of the Red River Valley near Red Lake Falls.

  3. Grab a bite to eat at Joe Dimaggio's Sports Cafe or The Spot in Red Lake Falls.

  4. Check out the Historic Downtown Crookston with a Self-Guided Walking Tour (we recommend stopping for a chocolate snack at Widman's Candy Store).

  5. Catch the summer sunset from your campsite at the Red River State Recreation Area in East Grand Forks. Marshmallows anyone?
